Job summary
Meridian Business Support is recruiting for Yard Operative roles in Rugby. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics setting, focusing on hygiene and site presentation while performing yard housekeeping duties and pallet organisation.
The role offers day and night shifts, weekly pay, ongoing temporary work, plus induction and training. Prior forklift experience or licences are preferred but not essential; accommodation for skill development is available.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential.
- PPT licence preferred but not essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Full training provided for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities
- Sort and organise pallets in the yard.
- Segregate waste and recyclables according to site procedures.
- Keep warehouse and external areas tidy and safe.
- Sweep floors and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Assist with trailer loading when required.
- Comply with site health, safety and hygiene standards.
