Job summary

Vibe Recruit is looking for a Yard Operative in Oxford. This hands-on role involves sorting stock, loading and unloading deliveries, and moving materials around the yard and warehouse. You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with every other Saturday morning, as part of a small team.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and communicates well. Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.

Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Yard Operative in Oxford?

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy and successful team, working Monday to Friday with every other Saturday. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is physically fit, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.

The Role

As a Yard Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a friendly, busy and supportive team
• Sorting and organising stock
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving materials and stock around the yard and warehouse
• Working both indoors and outdoors
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all relevant Health & Safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse and yard operations as required

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be physically fit and comfortable being on their feet throughout the working day
• Have good communication skills
• Be reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in
• Be able to work effectively as part of a small team
• Have a good awareness of Health & Safety
• Have a Forklift Truck (FLT Bendi) licence - advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 4:30pm

Every other Saturday: 7:00am - 11am
