Job summary

Recruitment Helpline in High Wycombe is seeking a practical Yard & Production Operative to support the day-to-day operations of a busy facility. You'll be involved in goods handling, stock control, yard organisation and machinery operation.

Applicants must be physically fit, reliable and able to work outdoors. Rural location requires own transport; driving licence beneficial. Full-time, permanent role with a salary of £26,500–£30,000 DOE and standard hours.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of manual handling and outdoor work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in warehouse, yard, production, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Confident using basic machinery and workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries.
• Measuring and cutting products to specification.
• Stock control and goods‑in/goods‑out processes.
