Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a Yard Controller to join a busy branch team. You will support both rentals and the workshop, ensuring the site stays clean, safe and secure while handling vehicle handovers and documentation with a helpful, customer‑focused approach.

You will assess on- and off-hire vehicle condition, assist in delivering vehicles during peak periods, and help minimize risk to the business through careful attention to detail and safety.

• Explain vehicle paperwork and processes to customers, answering queries in a friendly, helpful way.
• Capture on- and off-hire vehicle condition to reduce financial risk for the business.
• Assist with delivering vehicles during busy periods.

Salary: £29,194.00pa + bonus

Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours

Part of a busy branch team, you will work closely supporting both rentals and the workshop, while ensuring the site is clean, safe and secure. Also delivering vehicles in busy periods. The little things make a big difference as a Yard Controller - a warm, friendly approach, taking the time to explain the vehicle and documents or answering queries in a helpful and positive way. We expect you to treat our fleet vehicles as you would your own and your eye for detail plays a vital part in the capture of on and off hire condition, helping reduce the financial risk to the business too.
