Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a proactive Team Leader to manage a busy branch, coordinating drivers to meet customer needs and ensuring vehicles are available when required. The role emphasises people leadership, high standards of customer service, and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will be part of the Branch Management Team, overseeing delivery and collection, motivating your team, and driving the efficient use of the fleet.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU Driving Licence (likely essential).
• Experience in vehicle rental or logistics is useful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the driver team to meet customer needs and branch priorities.
• Ensure vehicles are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
• Inspire the team and take ownership of fleet allocation and utilisation at the site.

With your team of Customer Delivery Agents on board, it’s over to you inspire the team and take ownership for the allocation and utilisation of the fleet at your site, getting the right vehicles to the right customers, just when they need it.

Whereas knowledge of vehicle rental or similar logistics environment may be useful (along with a Full UK or EU Driving Licence of course!), what is more important to us is the drive and personality you can bring to the role.
