Job summary

Applefields School in Harrogate is seeking a part-time Wraparound Care Assistant to join the before/after school and holiday club. The role is fixed term to 31 August 2027 with a likely extension, 25 hours per week during term time and additional holiday club hours as agreed.

You will support children's play, ensure supervision and safety, and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and pupils. A Level 3 Early Years qualification or Level 2 with experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years or Level 2 with experience are desirable.
• Experience in supervising and caring for children.
• Excellent communication with school community and families.

Responsibilities

• Support breakfast/after-school and holiday clubs with children.
• Ensure children are safe, supervised and engaged in developmentally appropriate activities.
