Job summary

The Norman Church of England Primary School, Northwold, is seeking a Wraparound Care Assistant to support Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club provision. The role involves planning activities, setting up spaces, and ensuring pupils are safe and engaged.

The position is 15 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 38 weeks per year, with a pro-rata salary of approximately £8,613.69 and a full-time equivalent of £24,796 FTE. This is a permanent contract within Grace Schools.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
• Experience in preparing and serving healthy snacks
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Collaborative team working abilities
• Ability to build relationships with staff, parents and community

Responsibilities

• Plan age-appropriate activities for pupils
• Set up rooms for a purposeful environment
• Organise refreshments and meet pupils' dietary needs
• Be a positive role model with high expectations
• Encourage pupil interaction and participation in activities
• Support pupils during play while maintaining safety and following behaviour policy
