Job summary

Wansdyke School is seeking a dedicated Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in running our after-school club provision. The role is part-time and fixed-term until 31 August 2027, with afternoon sessions for primary aged children in a warm, caring environment.

You will help plan and organise activities, work with pupils, staff and parents, and ensure safe, high‑quality education and care.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a play/educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with pupils, staff and parents.
• Self-motivated, energetic and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organising activities for primary-aged children.
• Support delivery of safe, high-quality education and care.
• Help supervise after-school club operations and environment.
