Job summary

Hertford Vale CE Primary School in Scarborough is seeking a Breakfast Club/After School Club Colleague on a fixed-term contract to 31 July 2027 (with possible extension). The role is part-time, 21.3 hours per week, term-time only, with a salary of £12,752 per annum.

You will lead planning, organisation and administration of the wrap-around provision, supervise children to ensure safety, and communicate effectively with school stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A level 3 qualification in early years or a full Level 2 with relevant experience.
• Willingness to work towards the required qualifications is preferable.
• Experience in planning and administering afterschool clubs is desirable.

About the Role:

Breakfast Club/After School Club Colleague - Hertford Vale CE Primary School

Hours per week: Monday to Friday, term time only
Breakfast Club: 7.20am - 8.50am
After School Club: 3.15pm - 6.00pm

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dependable individual to work within ourwrap around provision.We are looking for people who are:

• Committed to supporting child development through exciting and creative play for our children.
• Have experience of ensuring that children in their care are well supervised, safe and cared for.
• Have the ability to take a lead role in the planning, organisation and administration of our afterschool club.
• Have excellent communication skills with all stakeholders within a school community.
• Can promote the Christian ethos of the school and demonstrate the values and vision everyday.
