Job summary

Applefields School in Harrogate is seeking a part-time Wraparound Care Assistant to join the before/after school and holiday club. The role is fixed term to 31 August 2027 with a likely extension, 25 hours per week during term time and additional holiday club hours as agreed.

You will support children's play, ensure supervision and safety, and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and pupils. A Level 3 Early Years qualification or Level 2 with experience is desirable.

Salary:£13.28 per hour
Grade: CD
Contract: Fixed Term to 31 August 2027, with likely extension
Hours: Part Time 25 Hours
Location:Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Bilton Grange Community Primary School

Hours: Part Time up to 25 Hours Term Time, holiday club up to 30 hrs per week both to be agreed at interview
Location: Harrogate, Bilton Grange Primary school, The Hive wrap around child care and holiday club
Breakfast Club/After School Club, Holiday Club Colleague – Bilton Grange Primary School
Hours per week: Monday to Friday, during term time
Breakfast Club: 7.30am – 9.00am
After School Club: 3.00pm – 6.00pm
Holiday Club: Hours to be agreed between 7.30am-4.30pm
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dependable individual to work within our wrap around provision. We are looking for people who are:

• Committed to supporting child development through exciting and creative play for our children.
• Have experience of ensuring that children in their care are well supervised, safe and cared for.
• Have excellent communication skills with all stakeholders within a school community.

A level three qualification in early years or a full and relevant level two qualification and experience of working with children is desirable for this post or a willingness to work towards one is preferable.
