Job summary

John Rankin Infant and Nursery School is seeking a caring, organised Wrap Around Care Co-ordinator to run the after-school and before-school provision. You will lead engaging activities for children aged 3–11, coordinate daily operations and support staff while maintaining high safeguarding standards.

You will work within a welcoming school community, foster strong family and staff relationships, and contribute to a safe, development‑oriented environment beyond core teaching hours.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification such as NVQ/CACHE Level 3 or equivalent is essential.
• Paediatric first aid qualification would be desirable.
• Experience with school-aged children, including Nursery-aged children, is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities to support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs.
• Lead the wraparound provision on a day‑to‑day basis and coordinate its organisation.
• Support and direct colleagues, building strong relationships with children, families and school staff.
• Maintain safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care to a high standard.
