Qualifications

Level 2 Childcare qualification or working towards completion.
Experience of working or volunteering with young children.
Strong safeguarding, inclusion and child wellbeing understanding.
Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children.
Supervise play, activities and mealtimes to promote positive behaviour and social interaction.
Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Support children’s wellbeing, comfort and personal needs.
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, health and safety standards.
Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carers.
