Job summary

Manor Hill First School is seeking a dedicated wraparound care supervisor to create a safe, nurturing environment for primary-aged children. You will plan engaging activities, support development, and work closely with families to promote wellbeing and positive behaviour within the school community.

The role requires Level 3 childcare/related qualification, safeguarding knowledge, and strong communication. You will join a supportive team committed to high standards of care and development.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Early Years or a related field.
• Have experience working with primary-aged children.
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
• Can confidently lead and organise activities for groups of children.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are caring, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
• Demonstrate a positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the school's wraparound care provision.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's social, emotional and physical development.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel happy and secure.
• Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's Behaviour Policy.
• Supervise and support children during play, snack times and daily routines.
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
• Work closely with parents, carers and school staff to support children's wellbeing.
• Maintain registers and relevant records as required.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school.
