Job summary

Abingdon and Witney College is seeking a Senior Workshop Technician (Construction) at the Bicester Construction Campus. You will lead the workshop, support teaching staff with practical delivery, and ensure high standards of organisation, housekeeping and safety.

Plan and deliver technical demonstrations, inductions and equipment training for students and staff. You will manage tools, equipment and stock, liaise with suppliers and conduct regular stock audits to keep workshops running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Lead technical specialist within a workshop delivering practical sessions.
• Experience planning and delivering demonstrations, inductions and equipment training.
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance, risk assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work.
• Proven ability to manage workshop tools, equipment and stock and liaise with suppliers.
