Job summary

Listers Group Ltd, Hull, are seeking a Workshop Quality Advisor for our Porsche dealership. The role runs 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am–1:30pm. OTE up to £34,000 plus benefits.

You will oversee workshop quality checks, ensure technician standards, conduct road tests, and manage service sheets and warranty paperwork. A valid UK licence and a drive for excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• NVQ Levels 1-3 in vehicle maintenance would be advantageous.
• Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality of work in the workshop and technicians' standards to meet brand/company standards.
• Oversee workshop quality checks, customer satisfaction, and first-time fix rate.
• Perform vehicle road tests before and after work to ensure issues are resolved.
• Ensure accurate completion of service sheets and job cards and that all paperwork is completed to standard.
• Ensure warranty paperwork is completed and procedures followed.
• Support Aftersales manager in identifying training and development needs.

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Workshop Quality Advisor to join our Porsche Dealership in Hull. The hours of work are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday as well as 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:30am to 1:30pm. OTE of up to £34,000 plus benefits.

Candidate Responsibilities include:

• To manage the quality of work completed in the workshop and be responsible for Technicians' standards in order to adhere to brand/company standards.
• Oversee the workshop in terms of quality checks, customer satisfaction / first time fix and rectification to provide a seamless service to customers.
• You will perform vehicle road testing before and after work has been carried out to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
• Controlling the accurate completion of Service Sheets and Job Cards and making certain that all relevant paperwork accompanying all jobs are completed to the required standard.
• You will also ensure appropriate paperwork for warranty jobs are completed and that relevant procedures have been followed.
• To support the Aftersales manager in identifying training and development needs throughout the team.

What we're looking for

• To be considered for the role you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, for example as a Service Technician looking to progress in their career.
• NVQ levels 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent in a relevant vehicle maintenance subject would be advantageous.
• We are looking for a technically minded, driven and detailed individual who will help us provide the best service to our customers.
• You will be expected to work well as part of the existing team, so fantastic people and leadership skills are a must.
• You will also possess a valid UK driving licence.
