THX Ltd is seeking a dependable technician to assist with cleaning, maintaining, and repairing returning hire equipment. You will help keep gear in prime condition and support the yard, workshop, and driving teams.

Training is provided for equipment inspection and PAT testing, plus rebranding tasks. You will use a computer-based admin system and work a Monday–Friday pattern with occasional overtime as demand dictates.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience maintaining/repairing a range of equipment and tools.
• Mechanical or electrical experience is essential.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically with a practical mindset.

Aufgaben

• Cleaning and maintaining equipment appearance, including minor painting touch-ups.
• Inspecting and testing returning hire equipment (training provided).
• Rebranding new equipment with THX stickers.
• PAT testing (training provided).
• Using a computer-based system for administration.
• Repairing a wide range of mechanical and/or electrical tools and equipment.
• Regularly checking and tidying the yard, workshop, warehouse and vehicle areas.
• Providing support to warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required.

We are looking for someone to assist the team with the cleaning, maintenance and mechanical repair of returning hire equipment. We have a friendly environment where the rapid growth of our business means we support the development of our talented people.

THX aspires to be the hire company of choice for specialist contractors, offering the latest in a very large range of hire equipment.

You will be responsible for:

• Cleaning and maintaining the presentation of equipment, including touching up paintwork and re-spraying
• Inspecting and testing returning hire equipment (training given)
• Rebranding new equipment with THX stickers
• PAT testing (training given)
• Using a computer-based system for administration
• Repairing a very large range of mechanical and/or electrical tools and equipment
• Regularly checking, cleaning and tidying our yard, workshop, warehouse and vehicle parking areas
• Providing support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required

Monday to Friday working hours, overtime may sometimes be required to meet customer demand.

Currently based in Bedford (MK41 0QB), but relocating in the new year to MK43 0YL.

It is essential that you bring:

• Previous experience in the maintenance and/or repair of a range of equipment and tools
• Mechanical or electrical experience
