Job summary

THX Ltd is looking for a morning cleaner to tidy ladders, podiums and returning hire equipment. The role includes inspecting items, helping unload vans, and carrying out general yard duties as part of a growing company.

Based in Bedford with relocation planned to MK43 0YL in the new year. Monday to Friday hours with occasional overtime to meet customer demand. Training will be provided for inspection and testing of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean ladders, podiums, scissor lifts and other equipment with a pressure washer.
• Clean hire equipment by hand and rebrand with THX stickers.
• Photograph and record very dirty items for records.
• Regularly check and tidy the yard, workshop, warehouse and vehicle parking areas.
• Support warehouse, workshop and driving teams as needed.
• Inspect ladders and podiums for safety and condition.

Job description

We are looking for someone to clean ladders, podiums and other returning hire equipment in the morning. Later in the day, you will inspect ladders and podiums, help unload the returning vans and carry out general yard duties. We have a friendly environment where the rapid growth of our business means we support the development of our talented people.

You will be responsible for:

• Cleaning ladders, podiums, scissor lifts and other equipment using a pressure washer
• Cleaning a variety of hire equipment by hand
• Rebranding new equipment with THX stickers
• Photographing and recording very dirty items
• Regularly checking, cleaning and tidying our yard, workshop, warehouse and vehicle parking areas
• Providing support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required
• Inspecting ladders and podiums

Monday to Friday working hours, overtime may sometimes be required to meet customer demand.

Currently based in Bedford (MK41 0QB), but relocating in the new year to MK43 0YL.

It is essential that you bring:
