Job summary

Lookers Motor Group Limited, Stoke Head Office, is seeking a Workshop Equipment Manager to lead procurement and lifecycle planning of workshop equipment across the national dealer network. The role reports to the Group Property Director and drives efficiency, cost savings and compliance while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workshop equipment management, contract negotiation and supplier performance monitoring, with a focus on standardisation

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing workshop equipment, engineering assets or technical infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering cost savings through procurement and supplier management.
• Experience leading tendering and competitive procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Group-wide workshop equipment strategy aligned to objectives.
• Lead specification, procurement and tendering of workshop equipment across network.
• Drive competitive tenders to ensure best value and quality outcomes.
• Manage equipment installation, replacement and refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate requirements for new dealerships and relocations.
