Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Exeter, Devon is seeking a Workshop Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and related MHE at a key customer site. The role is full-time and operates Monday to Friday on-site, with full training provided.

You will apply hands-on skills across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, holding a recognised engineering qualification and a UK driving license. The company offers training schemes, a pension, and tools provided to support day-to-day duties.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks, mobile plant machinery, HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Role

We are seeking a Workshop Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.

• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
