Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Workshop Engineer in Felixstowe. The role offers a base salary of £35,000 with an additional £45,000 OTE, working Monday to Friday days, with training, progression, overtime, and benefits.

You will be involved in service, maintenance, inspection and testing on forklift machinery, with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic responsibilities across modern equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance, inspection and testing on forklift or material handling equipment.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
• Commutable to Felixstowe and able to work Monday–Friday days.

Workshop Engineer

Felixstowe (Commutable from: Ipswich, Colchester, Woodbridge, Suffolk, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds)

Do you have Engineering qualifications and/or experience looking to join a National leader in the industry in a workshop position coupled with full Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic training?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable permanent role. You will be required to work on modern equipment, maintain a good work life balance and have clear progression within their business.

The company are a multi-million manufacturer of specialist Plant and Material Handling equipment supplying to leading facilities. This role is available due to internal growth plans.

This is a highly varied Monday - Friday days based role out of their modern, fully equipped and local depot. You will be based on site providing Service, Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on a range of Forklift machinery.

This role would suit a Plant, Mechanical or similar Engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi-skilled training and job a secure business.

The role.

• Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on Access, Material Handling, Forklift equipment.
• Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics involved.
• Monday - Friday (flexible hours).

The person.

• Plant, Forklift, REME, Material Handling, Vehicle background.
• Any Mechanical background welcomed.
• Commutable to Felixstowe.
