Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Controller / Service Manager in the Poole area with a Commercial Automotive Garage.

As part of the team, you will be a key member at the heart of our operation. You will be required to run an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities. This is a very hands-on, exciting, busy, and challenging role.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
• Experience working to KPI’s, budgets, and meeting targets
• Proven track record of managing a team of staff
• Experience in the automotive industry is essential
• Pro-active attitude, pride in your work, willingness to learn, and engagement with training, with an interest in pursuing a career in the industry
• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Manager, or Service Manager is preferred
• Confidence and a strong understanding of workshop processes and team management
• Full driving licence; any endorsements must be notified
• IT literacy; Kerridge knowledge is a distinct advantage
• Good numerical and administrative skills with attention to detail for KPI accuracy
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the business and team

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
