Here at Williams, our Workshop Controllers play a vital role at the heart of our aftersales operation, balancing people, productivity and quality to deliver the standards expected of a premium automotive business.
This is an opportunity to lead an established workshop team, influence day‑to‑day performance and make a real impact on efficiency, customer outcomes and team development.
We offer a competitive salary in the range of £35,250 to £40,000, with the opportunity to earn an additional £4,200 through performance‑related bonus.
This is a role where performance is recognised, offering the opportunity to grow your earnings over time while developing your career within a structured aftersales environment.
This is a full‑time role, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm, with Saturday mornings worked on a 1‑in‑4 rota (8.30am-12.30pm).
As Workshop Controller, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth, efficient running of the workshop, ensuring work is planned correctly, technicians are supported, and vehicles are completed to the highest standards.
You’ll work closely with Service Advisors, technicians and management to manage workflow, monitor productivity and maintain quality, while supporting and developing the team around you.
This role suits someone with strong aftersales experience who enjoys leading people, solving problems and driving standards, rather than simply managing tasks.
Starting out in 1909, Williams has grown as a family business into much more than just a place to buy a car.
We’re proud of our people, our heritage and our core beliefs and we’re always looking for talented, driven individuals to help shape our next chapter.
