Job summary

Williams Motor Group in Bolton is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their modern workshops. You'll carry out servicing and repairs, diagnose faults, and ensure high-quality work. Qualifications

Salary

We offer a competitive basic salary of £32,000 to £37,000 (dependent on qualifications), with realistic on‑target earnings of £37,400 up to £42,400, plus paid Saturday overtime. As your skills and experience develop, our structured career and training pathway can take your earnings up to £56,400 OTE.

Working hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm (42.5 hours)
• Saturday mornings: 8:30am - 12:30pm (on a rota basis)

Your role

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using computer‑based diagnostics
• Repairing or replacing faulty components efficiently and safely
• Road testing vehicles to ensure work is completed correctly
• Following manufacturer and internal checklists and procedures
• Taking pride in tools, equipment and workshop standards

What We’re Looking For

• Full, valid UK driving licence
• City & Guilds Level 3 or IMI Level 3 qualification (please talk to us if you’ve got Level 2)
