Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Workshop Controller to lead day-to-day workshop operations and support service managers in delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will help technicians hit daily targets while maintaining high standards of service.

The ideal candidate will hold a Full UK Driving Licence and bring motor industry experience, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team and to handle timescales under pressure.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Motor industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Responsible for the day to day running of the workshop
• Ensuring the service and repair technicians achieve their daily targets
• Assisting the service managers in ensuring the department provides the best possible service to the customers
• Achieves agreed profits and retention levels

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in a main dealer environment

• Ability to work under pressure
