Job summary

Group 1 Automotive's Volkswagen Van Centre Manchester is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead the workshop and deliver outstanding service to customers.

You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, work with technicians and service staff, and drive profitability while maintaining high standards. Salary £37,500–£42,500 basic, with bonus and OTE up to £50,000, depending on experience. We value diversity and offer extensive training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Motor industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work to timescales and under pressure.
• Experience in a main dealer environment preferred.
• Good teamwork and attention to detail.

Workshop Manager – Volkswagen Van Centre Manchester

Competitive salary of£37,500 - £42,500 basic salary, depending on experience, plus bonus with OTE of up to £50,000.

Working in our aftersales department as a Workshop Manager you will be a key part of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone, providing an outstanding customer service to all customers.

What you’ll do day to day
