Our client, a multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership located in Gloucester, is seeking a Workshop Controller to join their team.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and safety.
2. Plan, control, and deliver overall workshop performance.
3. Motivate and supervise a team of HGV Technicians, maintaining standards and safety.
4. Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure work is achievable, planned, and meets customer expectations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a large vehicle workshop for at least 2-3 years.
• Experience in a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
• Results-oriented with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Focus on quality and reliability.
• IT literate.
• UK driving license with minimal points.
