Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a laboratory billing specialist to work full time days.
A laboratory billing specialist is responsible for the assignment, completion, and audit of all daily pathology, cytology, and flow cytometry billing processes. Ensures revenue capture for all pathology procedures performed. Manages pathology financial issues involving billing, insurance and corporate finance departments. Responsible for reconciliation, corrections and payment of all department invoices. Serves as department liaison to pathology groups.
