Job Opportunity: Workshop Controller in Swindon

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Controller in the Swindon area within an Automotive Commercial Garage.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for running an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the optimal use of workshop facilities. This role is hands-on, busy, and challenging, requiring a proactive approach.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with KPIs, budgets, and targets
  • Proven track record of managing a team
  • Experience in the automotive industry is essential

The ideal candidate will be proactive, pride themselves on their work, eager to learn, and interested in developing a career within our industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Manager, or Service Manager
  • Strong understanding of workshop processes and team management
  • Full driving licence (any endorsements must be disclosed)
  • IT literacy; Kerridge knowledge is a plus
  • Good numerical and administrative skills with attention to detail to ensure KPI accuracy
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
