Venatu Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller for our client in the Oldham area. The role combines hands-on vehicle work with supervising a busy workshop, offering a balanced 50/50 split between productive technician duties and workshop control.

The position is ideal for someone moving up from Senior Technician or Diagnostic Technician to Workshop Controller. The successful candidate will coordinate activity, allocate tasks, diagnose and repair when needed, support

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Diagnostic Technician within the motor trade.
• Strong technical and diagnostic knowledge.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to manage workshop priorities while remaining productive.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily workshop activity to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

£35,000-£45,000+ OTE | Monday to Friday | No Weekends

We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join an established automotive dealership in the Oldham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual who enjoys combining hands-on vehicle work with the responsibility of overseeing a busy workshop.

The position offers a 50/50 split between productive technician duties and workshop control, making it particularly suited to an experienced Senior Technician, Diagnostic Technician or existing Workshop Controller looking for their next opportunity.

The Role

• Coordinate daily workshop activity to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Diagnostic Technician within the motor trade.

• Relevant automotive qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to manage workshop priorities while remaining productive.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality.

Salary & Benefits

• £35,000-£45,000+ OTE.
• Monday to Friday working hours.
• No weekend working.
• Approximately 50% productive and 50% workshop control responsibilities.
