Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Crewe, part of Vertu Motors, is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to support both our Vauxhall operation and the introduction of Leapmotor as we expand our franchise offering.

The role focuses on keeping the workshop running smoothly with planned work allocation, efficient resource management, and team leadership. The package includes a £38,000 basic salary with an OTE of £42,000 and importantly, no weekend working.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Controller.
• Clear communication and team support.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.

• Ensure deadlines are met and productivity remains high.
• Create a positive, organised environment that helps the team do their best work.
• Work within the Stellantis group to expose brands such as Peugeot, Vauxhall, Citroën, DS, Fiat, Jeep and Alfa Romeo.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our established team at Vertu Vauxhall Crewe, supporting both our existing Vauxhall business and the introduction of Leapmotor as we expand our franchise offering.

We are offering £38,000Basic Salary with an OTE of £42,000 and no weekend working!

About the Role

As a Workshop Controller, you’ll play a key part in keeping our workshop running smoothly every day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and allocating work to our Vehicle Technicians
• Coordinating time and resources to support an efficient workflow
• Ensuring deadlines are met and productivity remains high
• Creating a positive, organised environment that helps the team do their best work
• Part of theStellantis group, giving you exposure to brands such as Peugeot, Vauxhall, Citroën, DS, Fiat, Jeep and Alfa Romeo

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is an experienced Workshop Controller
• Communicates clearly and respectfully
• Enjoys supporting and organising a team
• Has a solid track record in a technical or workshop role
• Holds a full, valid UK driving licence
