Job summary

Securitas UK seeks a Workshop Controller for our Broxburn site in the United Kingdom. You will allocate and track service tasks, coordinate with Parts to secure timely availability, and document all services and parts used in line with manufacturer standards.

Maintain workshop organisation and safety, authorise purchase orders when needed, and ensure compliance with health and safety practices to sustain a hazard-free environment. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Job Allocation & Tracking: Assign tasks to Service Technicians based on job requirements, monitor progress to meet completion times, and keep Service Advisors informed of any changes.
• Parts Coordination: Work closely with the Parts department to ensure timely parts availability, tracking, and follow-ups for efficient job completion.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate completion of job cards, detailing all services, repairs, and parts used, in line with manufacturer standards.
• Workshop Organisation & Safety: Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety protocols, and manage overtime as needed to meet demand.
• Purchasing & Health Standards: Authorise purchase orders for required parts and uphold health and safety practices to ensure a hazard-free environment.
