Job summary

Stellantis &You UK is seeking a Workshop Controller at our Birmingham South dealership. You will lead the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, hours sold and first-time fix, while guiding the customer-facing team to maximise upsell with outstanding service.

You will drive the adoption of new digital systems, develop staff skills and ensure DVSA MOT and Health & Safety compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• Experience within a busy dealership environment.
• Ability to lead a workshop and customer-facing team.
• Strong focus on delivering commercial results and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance of the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, sold hours and first-time fix.
• Lead the customer-facing team to maximise upsell while maintaining exceptional customer service.
• Adopt new digital systems and processes as part of our digitalisation strategy.
• Develop the skills, knowledge and career progression of team members.
• Optimise operational processes within the Customer Journey, such as Vehicle Health Checks.
• Ensure compliance with DVSA MOT and Health & Safety regulations.
• Make an impact across the department and whole dealership.

As Workshop Controller you will engage your team to deliver the required commercial result and exceptional customer service

A Workshop Controller will also:

• Drive performance of the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, sold hours and first time fix.
• Lead the behaviour of the Customer facing team to maximise upsell whilst maintaining exception customer service.
• Adopt new digital systems and processes as part of our digitalisation strategy
• Develop the skills, knowledge and career progression of team members.
• Optimise operational processes within the Customer Journey, such as Vehicle Health Checks.
• Ensure Compliance with group financial processes, DVSA MOT and relevant Health & Safety regulations.
• Make an impact across the department and whole dealership.
