Job summary

Chassis Cab Bury St. Edmunds is seeking a Workshop Administrator to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity and high customer satisfaction within a busy automotive workshop.

You will drive compliance, optimise MOT pass rates, assist with workshop planning, and handle administration to a very high standard while coordinating logistics and supporting the Service Manager to hit KPIs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of compliance is required.
• Automotive industry background is preferred but not essential.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy workshop.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day business activities to maintain high productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure high levels of compliance to internal and franchise requirements.
• Maintain high MOT pass rates and quality checks.
• Assist with workshop planning and logistics coordination.
• Complete associated administration to a very high standard.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and coordinate with service teams.
• Support Service Admin and Warranty Department as required.
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed and the workshop is a safe place to work.
• Assist the Service Manager to meet KPIs and dealer requirements.
