Job summary

Bradford District and Craven Mind is seeking an experienced Learning and Development professional to shape and deliver our organisational learning offer. You will work with leaders, managers and volunteers to create career pathways and build a culture of continuous learning.

The role leads on learning strategy, mandatory training, and evaluating impact, while developing volunteering pathways. A relevant HR/LD qualification and track record in workforce development are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in HR, learning & development, organisational development, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing training programmes, frameworks or learning systems (e.g., LMS).
• Experience supporting volunteers, including recruitment, engagement or development.
• Experience contributing to organisational change or strategy implementation.
• Experience creating pathways into employment for underrepresented or vulnerable groups.
• Experience in charity/health sector (mental health) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the roll out of the learner management system.
• Ensure mandatory training compliance (safeguarding, health & safety, information governance).
• Develop structured learning pathways for varied roles.
• Evaluate impact of learning interventions and report findings.
• Support leadership development and succession planning.
• Provide guidance to managers on learning and workforce capability.
• Collaborate with external training providers and partners.
• Represent the organisation in sector forums.
