Job summary

Bradford District and Craven Mind is seeking a Learning & Development professional to lead workforce development and volunteering initiatives. You will design, implement and evaluate learning pathways, and manage the learner management system to support staff and volunteers.

You will work with managers across services to ensure compliance with safeguarding and information governance, promote inclusion, wellbeing and development opportunities in a supportive charity environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce development or learning and development.
• Designing or implementing training programmes or frameworks.
• Experience supporting volunteers.
• Knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion in workforce development.
• Understanding of mental health service context.

Responsibilities

• Develop structured learning pathways for different roles.
• Lead rollout and adoption of the learner management system.
• Ensure mandatory training compliance (safeguarding, health & safety).
• Provide advice to managers on learning and workforce capability.
• Support the volunteering framework and lifecycle.
• Build relationships with training providers and partners.
