Job summary

DWF Law LLP in Liverpool is seeking a proactive Workplace and Front of House Assistant to be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will welcome guests, manage meeting rooms, handle mail, stock control and facilities tasks in a fully office-based role.

The position demands strong organisation, excellent customer service and clear communication, with a rota-based 7:30am-4:30pm/8:00am-5:00pm/9:00am-6:00pm schedule. On-site, friendly team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Front of House, Customer Service and Workplace Facilities role.
  • Be highly organised and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Maintains high standards of performance by identifying and creating self-development opportunities.
  • Excellent customer service is essential.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • High level of computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership for the delivery of outstanding customer service at all times to both external and internal customers.
  • Develop an understanding of mail room services including processing and distribution of emails and physical inbound/outbound mail.
  • Liaise with 3rd party service providers to ensure hygienic cleaning/monitoring/reporting.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers regarding maintenance, planned and reactive.
  • Complete daily floor walk checks and general maintenance to a high standard.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and address potential hazards.

Your role will involve greeting guests, managing meeting rooms, stock control, handling both incoming and outgoing mail, dealing with POs, basic office maintenance/facilities management and other general queries.

This is an exciting role within an adapting work environment. It will be both challenging and rewarding and will allow you to gain and develop a broad variety of different skills.

The working hours for this role are either 7:30am - 4:30pm, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 9.00am to 6.00pm on a rota basis and will be fully office based.
