Job summary

RAD Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Working Site Foreman to oversee day‑to‑day construction, refurbishment and renovation projects across our hotels. This fully site‑based, hands‑on role suits a tradesperson who has progressed into foreman or supervisory level but still enjoys active on‑site work across multiple sites.

Based primarily at Seamill Hydro Hotel with potential moves across RAD properties, you will coordinate trades, ensure safety, quality and progress, and report to the RAD

Qualifications

  • Strong background in a recognised construction trade.
  • Experience as Foreman/Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day work and activities on site.
  • Coordinate tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Plan and communicate daily work priorities.
  • Monitor progress against the project programme and raise issues promptly.
  • Check workmanship quality and address any defects.
  • Organise materials, deliveries and other site requirements.
  • Identify and resolve practical on-site issues.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised working environment.
  • Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs and standards.
  • Provide regular progress updates to owners and RAD Project Management team.
  • Minimise disruption to guests and hotel operations while working on live environments.
  • Remain hands-on and assist with practical construction tasks when required.

Working Site Foreman
RAD Project Management
Full-Time

We’re looking for an experiencedWorking Site Foreman to join RAD Project Management and oversee the day-to-day delivery of construction, refurbishment and renovation projects across the RAD Hotel Group.

This is a fully site-based, hands‑on role, ideal for an experienced tradesperson who has progressed into a foreman or supervisory position but still enjoys being actively involved on site.

RAD Hotel Group operates 10 hotels, primarily across Ayrshire, with projects ranging from bedroom refurbishments and upgrades to the construction and renovation of restaurants, bars, cafés, function spaces, leisure facilities, bedrooms, lodges and other hotel amenities.

Our current project is based at Seamill Hydro Hotel, although the successful candidate will work across different RAD Hotel Group properties as required.

Working closely with the owners and RAD Project Management team, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the site, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring projects progress safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing the day‑to‑day work and activities on site.
  • Coordinating tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Checking the quality of workmanship and ensuring any defects are addressed.
  • Organising materials, deliveries and other site requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving practical issues on site.

  • Ensuring work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed standards.
  • Providing regular progress updates to the owners and RAD Project Management team.
  • Working considerately within live hotel environments, minimising disruption to guests and hotel operations.
  • Remaining hands‑on and assisting with practical construction and trade work when required.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A strong background in a recognised construction trade.
  • Previous experience in a Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar site‑based supervisory role.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Good practical knowledge of construction, refurbishment and fit‑out work.
  • The confidence and ability to lead people and maintain high standards on site.
  • The ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • A proactive, practical and flexible approach.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Experience working on hotel, hospitality or other live‑environment projects would be advantageous.
  • A relevant CSCS card and site supervision qualification would be desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between RAD Hotel Group sites is essential.
