Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Workforce Management Lead to shape planning, deployment and optimisation of our workforce across Retail Operations. You will lead forecasting, scheduling and productivity initiatives to ensure the right colleagues are in the right places at the right times.

You will collaborate with Retail Operations, Finance, People, Digital Operations and Operational Excellence, delivering data-driven insights, dashboards and business cases to drive efficiency and colleague experience

Qualifications

Experience in workforce management, resource planning or labour optimisation.
Strong forecasting, scheduling or resource planning in fast-paced environments.
Advanced analytical skills with Excel and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Track record of delivering measurable productivity improvements.

Responsibilities

Develop workforce planning and forecasting models aligned with customer demand and trading patterns.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity and labour efficiency through data-driven insights.
Establish workforce planning and scheduling principles balancing customer needs and operations.
Lead optimisation of workforce management technology including Rotageek and related solutions.
Support business cases and change initiatives with workforce planning expertise.
Create meaningful dashboards and reports in Excel/Power BI to translate data into actionable recommendations.
