Job summary

Arup is seeking a Work Winning Lead to oversee Priority Pursuits and bid support in the UKIMEA CPD portfolio. You will shape work winning strategies, coordinate proposal teams, and drive client engagement plans to increase win rates across the region.

You will lead a cross-geography team, embed best practice, and develop frameworks for knowledge management and succession planning within Arup’s CPD group. A strong procurement background and APMP are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• APMP certification desirable.
• Proven success in leading work winning teams across different geographies and contributing to winning major CPD sector bids.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices and relevant regulations, particularly in the public sector.
• Knowledge of the CPD sector and markets, including key clients, partners and competitors.
• Experience in managing a pipeline of Priority Pursuits, including the use of digital tools such as MS Dynamics CRM.
• Experience of leading and contributing to improvement initiatives that affect skills, tools and processes for winning work.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipeline of opportunities and manage bid activities for CPD UKIMEA.
• Oversee proposal management and bid coordination across CPD teams.
• Define pursuit/positioning strategy, scheduling, compliance and submission production to raise win rates.
• Maintain Arup brand through the capture, work winning and delivery cycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams and bid directors to deliver strong submissions.
• Drive client engagement planning and pre-positioning for Priority Pursuits.
