Job summary

Coleg Gwent in Wales is seeking a Part-time Work Based Assessor for the childcare area, spanning Crosskeys and Torfaen Learning Zone campuses. You will assess Health & Social Care (Childcare) learners in their workplaces, deliver knowledge and assessment workshops, and handle award and funding paperwork to keep everything on schedule.

The role is 18.5 hours per week across two sites. An Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration are required.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification such as a PGCE or willingness to achieve one within a set period.
• EWC registration is required.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess Health & Social Care (Childcare) candidates in the workplace.
• Deliver knowledge and assessment workshops.
• Manage administration and paperwork for awards and funding body requirements.
