TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Childcare Assessor to work in Caerphilly and Pontypool in two Welsh-medium schools. The role is part-time (1.5 days per week) on a fixed-term basis until July 2027, delivering childcare qualifications in Welsh for one day per week and assessing seven learners across both schools.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised assessing qualification such as TAQA or AVA.
• Fluency in Welsh with ability to teach and assess through Welsh.
• Experience teaching, delivering or assessing childcare qualifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Patient, supportive and adaptable approach to working with learners.

Responsabilités

• Deliver childcare qualifications through the medium of Welsh for one day per week.
• Assess a total of seven learners across two schools and monitor progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to support learner achievement.
• Work 1.5 days per week on a fixed-term basis until July 2027.
