TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Childcare Assessor for two Welsh-medium schools in Caerphilly and Pontypool, delivering childcare qualifications through Welsh. The role is part-time (1.5 days per week) on a fixed-term basis until July 2027, based in Pontypool with start ASAP.

You must hold a TAQA or AVA qualification, be fluent in Welsh, and have experience teaching or assessing childcare qualifications.

• Fluent Welsh speaker with experience teaching and assessing childcare qualifications.
• Must hold TAQA or AVA assessing qualification.
• Experience delivering childcare qualifications.
• Strong understanding of childcare practices and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Patient, supportive and adaptable approach to learners.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver childcare qualifications through Welsh for one day per week.
• Assess seven learners across two schools (Caerphilly and Pontypool).
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
