Colas Ltd is recruiting Winter Maintenance Drivers (Zero Hour) for Area 9 in the Midlands. You will operate a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle, stay on standby during the season, and perform associated duties to keep roads safe.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 entitlement and CPC. Training will be provided for suitable applicants, with a potential contract extension and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 entitlement and CPC is essential.
• Winter Maintenance qualification desirable; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Drive a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle for Area 9 during the winter season.
• Remain on standby and manage on-call requirements during weather events.
• Ensure safe operation, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and environmental compliance.
