Job summary

Golf Holdings in Dundonald is seeking a part-time Sales Advisor (30 hours) to provide excellent customer service and upsell products. You will support the Store Manager in sales, security and stock control, ensuring products are well displayed and promoted in line with company standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 months in retail, strong communication skills, and a professional, team-oriented approach. A neat appearance and ability to work as part of a small team are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Three months' previous experience in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues, both written and verbal.
• Customer-focused with the ability to exceed customer expectations by delivering high-quality service.
• Proven ability to actively sell to customers.
• Motivated, with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Smart appearance and good dress sense.
• Strong team player able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent service and up-to-date knowledge of products.
• Identify selling opportunities and act on them.
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside and outside the store.
• Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to company standards.
• Assist with promotional setup.
• Ensure premises are safe and secure at all times.
• Comply with cash handling, administration, health and safety, and licensing requirements.
• Perform any other duties relevant to the post.
