Job summary

The Warren in Carmarthen is seeking a passionate wine lead to develop the wine side of our restaurant beyond a static list. You will curate seasonal, off-menu selections, film short explanations, and host ticketed tastings that pair with each menu.

You will shape the Warren wine list, build strong supplier relationships, run the Warren Wine Club evenings, and help educate staff and guests about natural, organic, low-intervention wines while sharing in the growth of the wine business.

Responsibilities

• Curate four to six wines each season, paired to the menu
• Create short films for each wine and host a ticketed tasting to launch each list
• Help shape and refresh the Warren wine list and build supplier relationships
• Develop pricing and margins for wines and manage related purchasing decisions
• Run the Warren Wine Club evenings with a welcoming, social atmosphere
• Provide wine education and staff training; support retail and online efforts
• Tell the story of the wines through social channels, events and short films
