Hotel du Vin is seeking a Head Wine Ambassador to champion our Wine First philosophy and place wine at the center of the guest journey. You will merge technical wine knowledge with storytelling to drive beverage revenue and elevate on-property expertise.

You will mentor FOH staff toward WSET Level 2, design daily wine briefings, and curate experiences like Taste du Vin while maintaining luxury brand standards.

Qualifications

• WSET Level 3 certification or commitment to achieving Level 3 within 6 months.
• Experience with stock control, cellar management and prestige lists.
• Strong commercial acumen with GP margins and inventory optimization.

Responsabilités

• Direct wine service during peak hours in the Bistro, bar, and private dining rooms.
• Recommend wine pairings to drive upsells and wine flight bookings.
• Host signature experiences like Taste du Vin and staff tastings.
• Onboard FOH staff and mentor for WSET Level 2 certification.
• Lead daily Wine of the Day briefings and monthly tasting sessions.
• Oversee cellar rotation and inventory PAR levels to minimize waste.
