Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking a Wine Development Manager to drive profitable wine sales across the Dorset and Hampshire region. You will secure new business, grow existing accounts and support Sales Development Managers with wine consultancy and category development.

The role requires proven wine knowledge, strong relationship skills and the ability to deliver engaging training and tastings. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven wine knowledge and passion for wine industry.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a commercial sales environment.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot profitable opportunities.
• Confident presenting and delivering engaging training.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable wine sales by securing new business and growing existing accounts.
• Act as the region's wine specialist with expert wine advice and list development.
• Deliver wine training, tastings, events and educational support.
• Identify opportunities to increase wine distribution and profitability.
• Build long-term customer relationships and manage accounts across the region.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to support promotions and launches.
