Job summary

LA International is seeking an IT engineer to support Windows 11 rollout, device build, deployment and decommission across UK sites. You will enrol devices into Intune/Autopilot, install core apps and migrate data while ensuring security compliance.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, SC clearance, and UK-born status. Clearance processing can take up to 10 weeks; LA International is a leading provider of security-cleared talent.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• SC cleared, UK born national only.
• Security clearance process required before appointment (up to 10 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Build Windows 11 devices using standard images and task sequences.
• Enroll devices into Microsoft Intune / Autopilot (or SCCM where applicable).
• Install core applications (Microsoft 365 Apps, VPN, security tools, line-of-business apps).
• Deploy Windows 11 devices to end users in line with rollout schedule.
• Decommission legacy Windows 10 devices in line with IT policies.
• Backup, restoration, and migration of user data.
• Securely wipe data using approved tools and methods.
• Remove devices from Azure AD / Intune / CMDB systems.
• Manage laptop and device handover to multiple users and sites.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Update asset registers and deployment tracking sheets.
