Job summary

Jobtailor in Bristol is seeking an experienced drone operations specialist to provide first-line support to clients using our drone systems and the Dhalion platform. You will troubleshoot issues, manage support tickets, and ensure timely updates to customers while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will fly commercial inspections, contribute to R&D testing, and train pilots and clients, drawing on NQE and GWO qualifications, and you will travel for deployments as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in drone operations and client support
• Certified UAV pilot with NQE or equivalent
• Experience with H&S and Operations Manual compliance
• Comfortable explaining technical issues to non-technical clients
• Experience training pilots or clients

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to clients using drone systems and Dhalion platform
• Troubleshoot client queries related to drone operations, data upload and processing, and reporting
• Track support queries through to resolution and keep clients updated
• Feed customer and product feedback into the product roadmap
• Fly commercial drone inspection missions as part of the Ops team
• Maintain CAA compliance and H&S standards on deployments
• Support R&D testing of new drone hardware and software
• Act as a trainer: mentor pilots and clients on systems and procedures
