Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business, demonstrating the ability to add value to opportunities in a competitive and evolving marketplace while maintaining high Engineering and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare RFQs for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders.
2. Evaluate tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers.
3. Coordinate with met mast suppliers.
4. Organise and perform site surveys.
5. Manage TSA and contracts with suppliers.
6. Gather information and documents for planning applications of met masts.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. A degree in engineering, science, physics, or mathematics; Chartered membership of a relevant professional body is advantageous.
2. Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is essential.
3. Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
